If I remeber correctly this product is rated for 150lbs (can't check while writing this review). I have a 100lb bag and this is my experience so far. If you're not prepared to anchor this hanger to studs or bolt it to concrete this bag hanger isn't for you. I bolted mine to 2"x4"s and then screwed the 2"x4"s into wall studs. It is secure and I haven't worried about it coming down. The L shape hanger has height adjustment, I have mine maybe a couple notches up and the L shaped hanger is already beginning to slump a bit. You have to hang the unit high to begin with and do not trust the height adjuster unless you have a lighter bag. The clip that you actually hang the bag from busted the other day while I was practicing Teeps and now I need a studier clip. It would have been nice if sturdier material was included, but for $40 you get what you pay for. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and if it weren't for these inconveniences I would give this product 5 stars.
