Hard to open and close

I am very disappointed in the step ladder. It is hard to close and hard to open and it is actually very noisy when you move it around. It will hold you and it is very safe. But, I will not be purchasing it again

The 3 steps are helpful to reach higher shelves. It is a bit heavier than I anticipated. It replaced a 2 step aluminum ladder.Despite the weight, it will meet my needs.
