Not a very good radio: home audio

I wanted a new clock radio because I had some problems with the old one. It had nice features, battery backup, USB port for phone/tablet charging, projection time and programmable radios. I am extremely disappointed. First, the instructions are incomprehensible. I'm not new to setting digital clocks; I usually install them without instructions. But it took me quite a long time to set the time on this radio and tune in to a few radio stations. I had batteries to back up and decided to move it to my dresser. I plugged it in and found the backup battery not working. I lost all programs. So I tried projection time. It's too easy. red. even see in the dark. Numbers in front, time. Too bright at night even in low light. it can be dimmed in 3 levels. I turned it back for the brightness. I didn't even try to connect my tablet because the radio is so light it's likely to fall over. The only thing I can say the radio is normal is the sound. It's not great, but you can hear it clearly. I had programmed several radio stations and all but one disappeared. I didn't want to return it as I sent back two other clock radios that didn't work. different brands. So at least I have a radio.
