I've spent a lot of time installing this system (Note: the PSU has to be INDOOR and the cable has to go through a full cycle from/to it - so it's not an easy task ! ). Then I diligently trained my cat for another 2 weeks - both in the "guided" and in the "tethered" method. I took care of my cat the first time I let her walk without a harness, just with a sensory collar. Everything was fine, but in the first hour when I let him roam around alone, he immediately crossed the border and disappeared - luckily I managed to bring him back. So now I train him even longer so that he "forgets" the lesson that he can escape. A particularly annoying problem: The on/off button on the collar is very fiddly - it has to be turned just right for the sensor to stay on. Worse, the on position is halfway between off (hard stop) and remove battery - so I almost lost my battery once taking a wrong turn. This needs to be renewed!
