I was looking for a small portable radio that could play the music I already have while I'm away so I don't have to use my phone's data. So far this little radio is working great. Sound/Volume: The volume is excellent. I only use a quarter to medium volume when I'm working outside. The sound is clear - no problem if the radio is clear or using your own music. Radio Stations: When I turned on the radio, 12 stations were loaded depending on location and signal strength. Some of the ones I wanted weren't preinstalled, so I just typed them in manually. I recommend finding a list of radio stations by your zip code and having it handy. Using a micro SD/USB card: I purchased a 64GB micro SD memory card with the radio. This worked well, but I decided I wanted to break the music up into playlists or genres instead of playing everything in a row. I ended up buying a set of 10 32GB USB sticks in a case. For me, USB sticks have turned out to be cheaper than buying so many micro SD cards. You can simply play them after they have been loaded onto your card/disk, enter the file number. You can also set it to repeat over and over. Music/SD card formatting: This is important - they clearly state that the micro SD card or USB stick needs to be formatted in FAT32 format before use. I ended up having to download the format as it wasn't listed on my laptop. It only took a few minutes to find these online and download them for use. Also, most of my music wasn't in MP3 format and I downloaded an app for that. Once I found one I liked that was also free, I was able to save the music I wanted in the new format without changing the original files. Overall I highly recommend this product. It's so small that I can put it in my shirt or pants pocket when I take it to work. It also fits perfectly in my purse or glove box when I take it everywhere. It works as advertised and I am very happy with my purchase so far.
