This is a 65% keyboard option if you're not a total keyboard geek

Read this before you buy this keyboard and you will be 100% satisfied:1 . Do not buy versions with optical switches. They are absolute rubbish. I had the optical red version before, this optical red version is reminiscent of the old membrane keyboard. The key does not move smoothly. Terrible terrible switches. I have Cherry MX6.0 and 2.0, Razer Huntsman Elite, SteelSeries Apex Pro, Logitech G610 and a few more that I can't remember. So I can say that the optical red switch version of this keyboard is absolute rubbish. These switches don't feel nearly as good as you would normally expect from mechanical switches.2. Please note that as a programmer you may not like the layout of this keyboard as you have to press Fn2 + Esc to type a character. There may be a workaround (e.g. remapping keys via software) but this is not guaranteed to work.3. The backlight of this keyboard is very dim (50% brightness of a big brand keyboard). Using brighter bulbs won't cost too much (probably a few dollars more, not more than $10). I don't know why they decided to make the backlight so dim. The light modes on this keyboard are great, but they're useless if you can't even see them. In a dark room, the light looks pretty good. What I like about this keyboard: The aluminum frame looks very nice. I find that all body parts fit together very well. The gaps between the four metal pieces are very thin, even thinner than the picture shows. I'm surprised to see that the actual keyboard has a slightly better build quality than the pictures. I give this keyboard a 10/10 for build quality.
