Review on Shock Doctor Superfit Basketball Strapless by Wendell Chapman

After purchasing 2 clear plastic mouthguards which did not take the right shape after removing them from 'hot' water (despite following the instructions) I was willing to pay a little more to try it out. So glad I did. Since the water shouldn't come to a boil, they won't get too soft. My 10 year old daughter was able to tolerate the heated mouthguard, put it in her mouth and achieve a comfortable fit (no deformation of the mouthguard when pulled out of the water). After cooling, they won't stick to teeth like retainers, but they certainly won't fall out. Now she wears them for skating, basketball, and taekwondo. I'm so glad they worked so we didn't have to buy a special mouthguard. Before molding I let my 13 year old daughter try them on to see if the size would fit her as adult mouthguards tend to be too big. She said the size was comfortable and would fit her too. I will definitely take more.
