This teapot isn't as good as my stainless steel teapot, but it's really amazingly beautiful when the blue light is on. The plastic doesn't seem to be of the highest quality, but that's okay. The small grate over the spout feels a bit cheap and the lid doesn't close all the way. Although the kettle stays on for a bit after boiling, the auto stop function works. After reading other reviews of the smelting base I got a little apprehensive so looked anyway. It actually stopped as expected. I also remember to turn off the kettle after cooking. Despite everything it's so nice to look at the cute blue light when it's on, I'm happy with my purchase.
