Review on πŸ§‚ Enhance Your Culinary Experience with OXO Good Grips Radial Pepper Grinder by Suhas Payton

I really wanted this to work! The clear plastic door is a miss! It's almost impossible to avoid.

Grinds well. Spills Pepper BETTER! I bought two. Both have the same problems. The plastic refill cap is too big, too loose and in the wrong place to tighten the large grinder handle. You push the door and peppercorns fly everywhere. And at the very bottom is a flexible bar that adjusts the grind level. Forget precision! Just find a place you're okay with and leave it alone. To tell the truth I can't tell much difference from one place to another. Only gross or subtle. I just can't understand why anyone would produce such a poorly designed machine and put a really good coffee grinder in it? LOL I totally ignored all user reviews because I've seen BA chefs use it in their homes. In the BA test kitchen, they used mostly black, which sells for around $40, and this one, which sells for around $13. BA chefs film videos from home and elsewhere, so I look at which tools they find most useful. These are tools, and my formula for gathering great tools is to find out what the pros use and get as close to them as finances will allow. And I'm cheap! But this idea puts just as much pepper on the table/field as it does on the food. It is almost impossible to hold the coffee grinder firmly by turning the long handle with torque. So in general he could be a contender, but no.
