Bluetooth only works for 5 minutes

The keyboard connects to my laptop and works when I turn it on for the first time. Eventually it stops working every time I use this keyboard. I check the bluetooth connection and it says it's still connected but it's useless. Great if you just want something cute, but a waste of money if you really want to use it!
