I don't have the patience for it
I use a curling iron and I can do the whole head in less than 10 minutes. It took me so long to do a tiny strand of hair after figuring it out. There's a bit of a learning curve and if you're not good with other curling tools, this might be for you. My curls didn't last long either, but I have the same problem with curling irons. I stick to the iron.
