As someone who can seemingly grow a beard overnight, plastic razors definitely haven't cut it. I didn't buy this because a GQ article said I'd be a manlier man if I had a safety razor no no. It's so damn handy it's insane to think anyone uses plastic. The blades are affordable and far more effective than plastic blades, and the durability of this Merkur makes you think you'll be shaving with it until your last days. I would highly recommend you get one of these and maybe get one for a friend who still uses plastic. Eventually they will thank you.
