Review on 🚚 JQuad Truck Cap Topper Mounting Clamps (Set of 4) by Ben Alvarez

I was hoping that this clip would thread through the aluminum threads for extra strength, but just to clarify for anyone wondering the same thing, it doesn't. The thread length is .91", which is still very decent and offers a lot more thread engagement than the original. See the attached picture showing the unthreaded bottom. The thread is well processed and tightened easily. I used 6 of these to set up my Contractor style topper with a built in ladder rack on a short platform. 6 clamps instead of 4 on the short platform provides more clamping force, but more importantly, more consistent clamping force on the defoliator. This theme works much better than the pivot theme I used before. I will gradually move my fleet to these clamps. Great product at a good price.
