Economical very soft cotton inside and outside. However, we women will probably be fine with the smaller size, but men will likely find it difficult to adequately cover their chin and nose and still be comfortable. However, if you are a woman and have a small/normal face (like the model in the photo) I highly recommend this. This is the softest and most breathable mask I have and although the size is smaller than other masks I wear, the comfort against my skin is amazing. It hardly feels like it's on. However, it seems to have a shorter height from the tip of the nose to the chin (I have a rather small nose and chin). It is inexpensive and made from a higher quality material with an elegant look. I imagine this mask will also be my choice for hiking because of the comfort and non-restricting breathing which is so important especially when working out. Made in USA which is even better as I also want to support jobs for us Americans and indicates a high standard. The fabric feels light on the face yet is durable.
