Review on ๐Ÿค– Liteaid 4093 Claw Machine by Steven Ferguson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

BIG hit for Christmas!

My kids are 5, 7 and 9 years old and they wanted one of these they saw in the Christmas catalogue. It was overpriced and sold out. This one looked almost identical and works great! I fill it with cheap party supplies like mini ducklings, styrofoam balls, little cars, etc. As long as it's light it will work. I haven't tried easter eggs, but I see no reason why it shouldn't work. The only negative is the sound, it's too loud! I taped off any cracks where the noise was coming from and had the kids place the car on a yoga mat to further reduce the noise level. I can still hear it from the next room when the door is closed. The kids don't seem to mind and that makes them very happy. Edit 4/7/21: The machine has withstood some fairly aggressive use; However, if you run 3 different motors, sounds and lights, this thing will use some battery. Claw uses amount. 3 D-Cell batteries that help extend performance, but as the voltage decreases, functions slow down and the game becomes less interesting. We have plenty of rechargeable AA batteries that we could use, but there's really no other reason for us to have rechargeable D cells. Our solution was to bypass the batteries and connect directly to the 5V power supply. The car now needs an outlet to function but provides endless hours of playtime and no more kids trying to take the car out of the playroom or pick it up and shake it.. Highly recommend a power adapter or at least 2 sets rechargeable batteries for spinning.
