Although the factory packaging and tube itself are marked as suitable for 406 and 451 wheels I have found that it additional material is available. when mounted on 406 wheels. I've used a lot of talc on the tubes so I'm hoping they'll self-center and evenly distribute the excess, but who knows what's actually going on inside. I assume Continental knows what they are doing and everything will be fine. I couldn't find any lumps or bumps after installation or after inflation, so again I'm assuming they know more than me, but this is far from a perfect solution in my opinion. They probably want to save money but next time I'll go with Schwalbe if they make lamps for the 406 in the future. Not cool!
