It didn't work for my app. The rubber tip is screwed onto the metal part. The rubber tip is also soft. The result is that it's difficult to seal the tip of what you're trying to lubricate + the lube takes the path of least resistance through the rubber/metal thread interface and exits the gap where the rubber meets the metal. If you just want to put a small amount of lube on something, this is probably ideal.
