These phone rings do exactly what they were designed to do. They're solid, the hinge is firm but easy to move, and the footrest is the same. Both are exactly what I wanted. There were no installation instructions, but I found out. Clean the area of the phone where you want to place it. Remove the dark cover from the supplied disc pad and stick it on the device. Then peel off the 3M protective film from the disc you just attached to the device and the ring, then stick them together. Instant stop! At least I think you do. As far as I know the extra drive is for the future but I don't think so. i like my way LAUGH OUT LOUD
