Suction Rods for Bath and Shower
I bought these for an elderly person to install. The other railings were bolted to the studs on the outside of the shower, but I didn't want to drill into the fiberglass shower. Both suction cups came loose within 24 hours of installation. I read online about smearing small drops of petroleum jelly around the edges of the suction cups and this trick worked. Both bars continue to hold and have not yet collapsed. They are easy to install and can be positioned at different angles.
