Every night I give my pit mix a can of wet dog food as a 'treat' so every night around 7 she'll stand by her bowl and look at me while I don't show her the glass and then she licks her lips and that's the only time she does it. I've experimented with different canned foods over the years (she is 10 years old) as the same food isn't always available and this is the first dog food I've bought that she won't eat. I mean deniedssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss she just wanted to leave it there until I removed it. I made the mistake of buying two dozen cans at once because, judging by the quality and composition, I figured she'd like it. I ended up giving a friend with dogs over 20 cans and he said they love it but he only feeds them dry food anyway so maybe they just couldn't resist offering something else. So all in all, the name says it all, but first, get a few separate jars to make sure your dog likes it before jumping in.
