I rate it 3 stars because it's ok. It barely fits the 2015 VW Passat, but it's really uncomfortable because the mirror mount is quite thick and then gets really thin, not leaving much room to play. It also doesn't jam all the way down so you have a pressure point on the mirror where the sharp hole is (may scratch). I removed it and used the suction cup that came with my G1W-C (which is way better and I have more room to place it. I shouldn't have jumped in and bought that like everyone else. Why can't they post the opening? Diameter so we can measure BUYERS?I'll be back.If it fits right I'd be more excited about it.The ball on the end to move the camera works great and fits the camera they said fits.I Just thought to myself. Why don't I post the number. At the smallest intersection, just over 1" will fit (if you take out the two panels they added for flexibility). At the longest intersection (remember, they're oblong is ) you can't put more than 1.25 inches (and that pushes it up depending on the shape of the mirror).
