Gets the dashcam out of the way

If you're like the billions of people who own a dashcam, it might be fun to put it up somewhere. Suction cups have a problem letting go occasionally. Normally at 70 km/h. It covers the bar that goes from the rear view mirror to the windshield. He mostly hides the camera behind the mirror and doesn't bother. Works as intended and the build quality appears to be very good.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Generally OK, but...

Great alternative to suction cups

I didn't like the windshield suction cup that came with the dashcam. First off it wasn't the most durable and the suction cup was too obvious for what I wanted. I found mount and tried it. It holds my camera steady with no issues. And it saved me from an ugly jerk! Just be sure to compare the end of the connector to what you need as there are several different options. The one I received was identical to the one in the picture.

  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Difficult for 2015 Accord Touring

This didn't really fit my 2015 Honda Accord Touring. Once on the reverse stem (with great difficulty), I found the camera angles very limited. With the lens now further away from the windshield, image quality suffered from reflections in the glass. Due to the bungee cord that runs along my rear view mirror rod, strong pressure can dislodge the bracket (although it's still attached to the mirror). I gave that three stars because these bugs might be specific to me. means of transportation. It…

Much better than suction cup mounts

I bought this to replace the suction cup mount on my G1W dashcam. The construction is plastic but strong and easily adjustable. The DVR doesn't hang too far from the mirror and is much stronger than the old suction cup mount I used. My only concern is that not enough spacers are included to properly install this mount to my mirror mount. I just stuffed some foam between the empty space and that seemed to help. When engaged, the dashcam does not vibrate even under hard acceleration, cornering…

It attaches easily, looks relatively solid and has a good grip

I wasn't planning on buying this item but I recently bought a DVR and the suction cup didn't stick to the points on the Matrix (slightly raised bumps on top of windshield) I don't understand why automakers keep putting these things on modern cars, but I digress. So I was faced with the dilemma of either buying a suction cup mounting pad that can leave adhesive on the windshield or buying one to mount around the rear view. I went for the less messy option and have no complaints. It attaches…

I use this product to mount my Mobius camera

I use this product to mount my Mobius camera on the rearview mirror of my 2013 Subaru Outback. I used to use a suction cup mount sold by the same people that sell the Mobius camera. The suction cups keep falling off. The iSaddle mount solves this problem. Please note that this iSaddle does not have a suitable connector to connect to a Mobius camera. I disassembled my old suction cup mount and removed the part that attaches to the camera. I then disassembled the iSaddle mount and replaced the…

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • boring packaging

I recently received a G1W dashcam as a gift and I don't like putting suction cup mounts on the windshield. This turned up when searching for Revain so I ordered it as the "installation space" on my rear view mirror was sufficient for the specs of this product. I would say if I were to install this mount on my bike the installation would be very easy as everything is outdoors and I would trust the strength of this mount on my bike. It's not so easy to install it behind the rearview mirror in…

Pros
  • Trial version for one year
Cons
  • Quality

If you don't like the suction cup that came with the G1WH, use this one. The difference lies in the suction cup, which can be hung anywhere, it must be just under the rearview mirror. For me it's a bit annoying when driving (personal preference). Installation is easy, but the tricky part is the puff button, which hits the windshield a little on top of my car model. Unlocking isn't that difficult, but pulling the block out without unscrewing the knob isn't that easy. I use both this holder and…

Can the seller write how big the hole is? I only see 2 cm length

I rate it 3 stars because it's ok. It barely fits the 2015 VW Passat, but it's really uncomfortable because the mirror mount is quite thick and then gets really thin, not leaving much room to play. It also doesn't jam all the way down so you have a pressure point on the mirror where the sharp hole is (may scratch). I removed it and used the suction cup that came with my G1W-C (which is way better and I have more room to place it. I shouldn't have jumped in and bought that like everyone else…

Pros
  • Accessories
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

This review refers to the G1W (2014 version). Basically I am satisfied with the device. I installed it behind my car's rear view mirror and am confident it will stay securely attached no matter what hits my car. The screw ensures that it stays behind the rear view mirror. It's definitely an improvement over the mounting block that comes with the G1W, which relies on suction to stay in place. In my opinion, anything that relies on suction is unreliable and error-prone. My only issue with this…
