Review on Universal Car Rearview Mirror Mount Holder for Dash Cams - iSaddle CH205 by Michael Schwegman

I recently received a G1W dashcam as a gift and I don't like putting suction cup mounts on the windshield. This turned up when searching for Revain so I ordered it as the "installation space" on my rear view mirror was sufficient for the specs of this product. I would say if I were to install this mount on my bike the installation would be very easy as everything is outdoors and I would trust the strength of this mount on my bike. It's not so easy to install it behind the rearview mirror in narrow spaces because it's hard to see what you are doing. I left all the rubber washers on, tightened them up, and then realized I needed to add another washer. This process was only slightly disappointing; In general, if I could find a clamp with a strong spring, that would be sufficient for my needs. After everything is set up, it works fine. My custom rearview mirror also has a compass and other gauges just below the surface of the mirror, and after deploying the dashcam I couldn't see the entire screen of the DVR. It's ok because the DVR screen saver works after 5 minutes. Some kind of expander would be good to solve this problem.
