If you don't like the suction cup that came with the G1WH, use this one. The difference lies in the suction cup, which can be hung anywhere, it must be just under the rearview mirror. For me it's a bit annoying when driving (personal preference). Installation is easy, but the tricky part is the puff button, which hits the windshield a little on top of my car model. Unlocking isn't that difficult, but pulling the block out without unscrewing the knob isn't that easy. I use both this holder and the included suction cup for another machine. It feels solid and doesn't vibrate as it moves, twists and turns with ease. It would be a great 5 stars if unlocking was easier and the handle was somewhere other than the windshield. I think the biggest need for this suction cup replacement item is that the suction cup ages over time, especially in extreme hot and cold weather. Such a holder will stick to the rearview mirror more reliably.
