I bought this to reduce my electric bill. Great tool for getting a general idea of what's what and boy was surprised items I thought were low power. I've also found that my TVs and satellite receivers use a surprising amount of power when in sleep mode! Now I will use the power plug. Yes, some patients have to wait for the receivers to reset, but doing it at night means only once a day. Water heater, light and other electrical appliances. I suspect it will pay off in the realization of energy savings.
