great product, very good price. It has 5 always-on outlets so you can plug in your cable box, computer or whatever you want. It then has 6 sockets controlled by the main socket. I have my AV receiver plugged into the main outlet and my subwoofer into one of the switched outlets. So when I turn on the receiver, it also turns on my subwoofer, which saves power and prevents power surges from damaging the subwoofer. It also has a COAX surge protector to protect your TV tuner from power surges. It also has phone protection and internet cable protection.
