Mine came with tiny part of wood chipped but good thing that small piece of wood is still inside the box so I just glued it back :)Easy to assemble. Dark Ebony color matches my black stove. Fits just right for my stove that's not quite 30" wide, more like 29.5-29.7".CAVEAT: No more space room if your stove is 1-2mm wider than my stove.Durability? Dunno how long it lasts. It's very light wood so I have to take a good care of it by not putting heavy stuffs on it.Pricewise? TOO EXPENSIVE! . but I am not a handyman to build one from scratch myself so it's perfect for my stove with curve top and I can't choose the other magnetic kind for a flat top stove.
