The processor is excellent, it stays cool, and it has adequate power for the price. Overclocking performance scales very well. The overclocking limit is the only real drawback, but it performs better with CBO or extreme cooling. Overall, a fantastic CPU for its price point. But if you can wait, I recommend the E8xxx series, and in particular the E8200 or the E8400. I'm not complaining that I now have one at home, but I am starting to stock up on i7s. As a result of my extensive testing, I am able to provide feedback and information on many pieces of computer hardware. -
