Two lines with the same problems so I suspect poor quality material. Sent back the first one as the carabiner was very poor quality and got stuck in the 'open' position and the twist lock didn't work in the 'closed' position. The replacement has the exact same problem but unfortunately I missed the replacement deadline as I use several other lines. Both lines failed in less than three uses. I was looking forward to this leash as I needed extra security when hiking in the mountains. I've been a fan of other spanker leashes, collars and harnesses that my 75 pound pit uses regularly with no problem, but this product really didn't work for me and I wouldn't recommend it. Back to the drawing board for this spanker. I will go back to other leashes without the useless lock carabiner. Wouldn't recommend it.
