Other I bought with end wheels which broke after 1 use. My original Kirby head was 14 inches wide - probably too wide to suck at the ends and difficult to get into tight spots. Many 8-10" heads are undersized and take a long time to clean. This 12" head is the perfect size and the brushes are just the right height (with a gap in the front to catch debris). The brushes have the right hardness - perfect for hard floors Great value for money Expect years of use Tip: I use some packing tape to hold my suction tubes together - better than them falling apart during cleaning or breaking/tearing from pinching too hard - had to use duct tape to prevent them from further tearing/splintering.
