This jacket runs true to size. It is well stitched both outside and inside. Has two front lower pockets and one exterior breast pocket. The sleeves are a good length and have plastic drawstrings that close with velcro to keep the wind out. Shell 100% nylon, body/hood lining 35% cotton and 65% polyester, insulation 100% polyester. The upper is water-repellent, the hood is spacious and the jacket reaches halfway to cover the back and protect against the cold. It's embarrassing they ordered a size 7-8 but received a 9-10. This was intended for my 7 year old son but will now be going to my 9 year old daughter and the color we expected was mustard yellow came red. However, this is an amazing jacket that suits both boys and girls. I only wish they would send in the correct size and color.
