Review on 🧰 Remodel Recessed Housing with Available Voltage by Ron Long

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Nothing like the brand name

They are about 3/8" to 1/2" shorter than this leads to a huge gap between headlight and fairing. It looks horrible. It also has a hole for a spring clip that shouldn't be there. much shorter than the brand name. It's made of stamped sheet metal that's strong but rusty on the outside. I will throw them away. The whole idea of finishing is to make the light look good and they do the opposite. Effect. It cost me money that I could have spent on a signature brand but I couldn't find it in my area. They used to be at Home Depot but not anymore (in my area). I do not recommend them, mainly based on the looks and the fact that they are much shorter than what is made to fit most 4 inch cans with bulbs to match. They may work for you depending on the lamp you install. But buyers beware, they are short.
