I am renovating the floors in my house and my relatively large porch had engineered wood glued to a panel that has been leveled. I used a 1 1/2 inch chisel to actually raise the floor and then went back with this piece to scrape the board and reinstall the floor. This 3 inch chisel worked beautifully and worked very well. I also bought an ax file which I used from time to time and it really helped. The method I've had the best results with was to go as close as possible to about 20 inches down the center. Then I started moving to the right and making 20 inch strips where I only advanced halfway, 1 1/2 inches into the material to be removed. Then I moved to the right and did the same and then back to the center for another 20 inch strip. That way the chisel didn't "jump" and I didn't hit the panel. Wall to wall and 20 inches I filed it again. I used it on a Dewalt SDS-Plus impact drill. I highly recommend this combo.
