This replacement heating element is perfect for my Kenmore electric range. The oven now works as it should and by installing it myself I estimate I saved at least $100 in repair costs. It took about 10 minutes to remove the old part and install this part. The item itself costs about $20. And it arrived in 3 business days, which is acceptable considering the pandemic. There is no local store near my home where I can buy it. Big stores like Lowe's and Home Depot would happily sell me an overpriced, poorly made electric range to replace mine. But why change the whole block, spend my hard-earned money on imported junk that I have to wait a week for to be delivered, most likely dented and scratched in the process? That $20 part and 10 minutes of my mediocre mechanical skills fixed my reach like new. Save $100 on repairs (+ similarly marked part supplied by repair company) Save $650 (+ taxes, shipping, new cable and useless "extended warranty") on a new line of products.
