I use this to make copper plant markers for my perennials. This is just the right size for the 2 1/2" x 1" copper plant markers (also available from Revain). Each letter is about 3/16 inch high, so the letters are small enough for some of the longer plant names, but not so small that they can't be read. Very easy to use - I use a small pad of paper under each marker so the stamp makes a good impression on the copper when I tap it with a hammer. Enjoy the soft green patina on these copper markers. My only wish is that they have indicators showing which direction the punch needs to be pointed, but that doesn't matter if I'm just careful.
