Review on Wacom Ergo Stand for Cintiq Pro 24: Optimize Your Digital Creativity and Comfort by Jay Liu

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Big and chunky for computers and accessories

This stand complements my 24" Cintiq HD Pro VERY WELL. However, this setup replaces my original 24" Wacom Cintiq. My complaint relates to the size of the PROFILE. The original bassoon was 1.5 inches, this one is THREE INCHES. While it's nice to be able to rotate the tablet, it's not that useful, to be honest. After a few years of software, a feature was added that allows you to rotate the digital side and get used to it. I still only use hotkeys to rotate my digital side. The extra 2 inches of thickness that the external mount adds is just not worth it in my opinion. To be clear is a very solid stand and I LOVE removing knobs and wheels (never used) on an external device BUT since it sits in front of me all day the extra 5 INCHES of height I would have is undesirable preferred to the old stand and tablet style looks like a steal in design. It does its job and does it VERY WELL, but it's like owning a dump truck when you really need a pickup.
