My kids went to school and like many of them they don't really like drawstring shorts so I had to use shorts with hooks and adjustable elastic which were still closed back then tight were left or lost on my skinny toddlers so they kept pulling on them. This belt is adjustable so it can fit even a 20/22 inch waist and it even fits a slim adult. I gave it to my 6 year old nephew and my 10 year old child. Niece, and everything is easy to detach and reattach. Can be used by children on pants with bows, as well as dresses or long shirts.
