IMHO The wire is more of an advantage than a disadvantage for this design of vacuum cleaners because it is superior to wireless and does not exhaust the battery at the most inconvenient time. It is exceedingly inconvenient to have to wait for several hours until the wireless is fully charged when it is only needed for more than twenty to thirty minutes at a time. In these instances, the need to wait for the wireless to be charged is intermittent. Has some pros: The crowning glory for a home without carpeting. Because it is so easy to use, I find myself using it to vacuum everything, including areas that are difficult to get, like cabinets. Using a regular vacuum cleaner will not allow you to accomplish this task. Having these drawbacks: The nozzle that was equipped with a brush quickly became worn out, and the filter currently requires washing and cleaning. Since I'm not aware of any other vacuum cleaners that use this particular structure for their filters, I can only assume that they are all the same.
