Such an improvement over the old backup basic multimeter

I've been using one of those cheap $5 multimeters from Harbor Freight for years. This is such a big step forward. Multimeters have many features that I probably won't use. I basically just check for continuity. Checking guitar cables, checking pickups, etc. It does everything a multimeter should do. The description contains all the details, so I will not list all the features. It comes with a carrying case, which is very handy as you have a place to store the meter and your sensors, as well as a small instruction manual to show you how to use the different functions. Great for keeping your tool box clean and free of loose cords! The device has a stand which I initially thought would get in the way when changing the battery. It turns out that it opens just enough that you can see the screw holding the battery cover in place. Cleverly, if you remove the screw, you'll find that the bumper that restricts the battery cover's movement is the battery cover itself, so the whole thing just flips out to make battery replacement quick and easy. I love this design. It's still a simple plastic cover, so I wouldn't overuse the stand, but it's very convenient to hold the meter at a viewing angle with both hands on the probes. Probes with small terminals on the end, but my other gauges weren't included either. This gauge appears to use a standard connection, so I'm guessing an aftermarket option isn't out of the question. I'm really impressed with the quality of this little counter.
