Review on πŸ–¨οΈ Avery Personal Label Printer - High-performing Direct Thermal B/W Label Printer (9100) by Daron Ellis

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Works fine (IF you can get it to work)

An end user requested this to work in a library. Folder marks and the like. Worked well for the first month or so. Pros: 1. prints beautiful labels IF he decides he wants to work. Cons: 1. XP Pro is not recognized as a USB device. (Most USB devices are recognized by XP when they are plugged in and removed. Not this item. Detected. Also no problem with any specific end user PC. I tested it on several different PCs and got the same results.) 2 .Each power switch automatically toggles turns off a label; Whether you like it or not. (Have lots of labels handy) 3. I have used Avery software products for many years. This was the first Avery PC connected label printer I have used. Unsatisfactory performance. I sent a "HELP" request to AVERY via the web form. The device is probably faulty and needs some kind of hardware repair/replacement 4. The concept of this device is BIG on paper.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember
