Do not do that! to fuel system

Three problems arose after my mechanic installed a throttle body on my Honda 05 Element:1. Check the engine light with code P1121, TPS output low. It turns out that the throttle position sensor (TPS) is adjustable, and once installed, the TPS needs to be adjusted so that the output voltage is 0.5 volts at idle. I checked and found that my TPS read 0.25 volts at idle, so it looks like my mechanic didn't bother to adjust the TPS after installing the throttle body. But it's pretty easy to set up and I did it myself. Then you need to force the computer to "relearn" the idle time. To do this, run the engine in park mode at 3000 rpm until the radiator fan comes on and then idle for another 5 minutes.2. Then the shift lock solenoid would not let me shift out of park. I've read that several Element owners have had the same issue after replacing a throttle body. I checked everything: the brake light switch, the magnet itself, etc. All nodes work. But the computer controlling the solenoid doesn't send any signal.3. Abrupt shifting from 2nd to 1st gear when stopping. This is also a common symptom after a throttle body replacement. I read that another Element owner fixed the problem by having the retailer reprogram Crank Pattern Learn at the retailer. I tried that too. There are no dice. Another $145 down the drain. I am planning to find a used OEM throttle body on eBay and get rid of it asap. Do yourself a favor and avoid him like the plague.
