This appears to be a rebranding of an older Hamilton Beach model. It looks exactly like it except for the Kalorik logo impressed into the front.I made fried pork chops (tonkotsu breaded with flour, egg and panko) at 350 degrees. I had to cook them one at a time. They turned out fine, but when I checked the temperature with a thermometer, it was at least 25 degrees cooler than the little green light indicated. I turned the dial all the way up and the oil went up to 350.Pros -worked great with flat breaded pork chopsOil filtration did work fine (I let it cool about 10 hours)Hand washing worked great.Lid kept grease inside until I had to open itCon-could only reach 350 degrees, despite the machine indicating it can go to 375 (potato temperature)Even at max oil level, oil can only reach into the basket about an inchSafety seemed sketchy - - basket didn't have much of a lip to hold on the edge of the cooker to when unloading (see photo) - Oil filtration container heated up when left in place during cooking (I removed it)
