🍳 Stainless Steel Kalorik 3.2 Quart Deep Fryer with Advanced Oil Filtration Review

This appears to be a rebranding of an older Hamilton Beach model. I haven't had this long enough to comment on durability but so far I am really liking this fryer. I have made a couple of things on it and it has worked really well for twice cooked fries as well as fish, running the low high and mid temperatures for frying.The temperature control is super easy, no digital shenanigans just a knob to set the temp. I cut some potatoes and made french fries - about 6 - 8 minutes. Everything works good so far. I read some negative reviews about leaking and such. I put some water in it first and drained . to see how it all works. Then I dried it well, added oil, and all is well.Watch my video. Lightweight to store, ease of use, and ease of cleaning puts this on my great purchase list! If you follow the recommendations for use, and don’t overfill the basket, there is no "foaming over” as I read in some of the reviews. The fryer itself works great. Heats up quickly, fries beautifully. The problem is the oil reservoir, which begins to warp after a few uses. Made of plastic and sitting directly below the oil, the lid of the oil reservoir warped and now doesn't fit tightly around the oil container where the filtered oil is stored. The timer had A short in it it would run for 2-3 minutes then it would shut the fryer off not even sure if the oil ever made up to temp I will be starting a return tomorrow

The product is easy for cleaning and cooking. However, the strainer broke first time I removed it after draining the oil to clean the unit. Luckily for me I had one from a older one I was replacing

I no longer have an oily stove and countertop to clean after frying. The built in filter is wonderful (let the oil cool overnight), and I store the used oil in the filter reservoir. Cleaning all the parts is a chore, but so was cleaning the stove top! The handles make moving the fryer into storage very easy.The top of the filter reservoir does not stay shut. I have had a large, oily mess twice. I as cm now looking to replace this appliance.

I’ve owned many oil dryers over the years. The oil filtration cleaning system is genius! Made it so easy to clean the tray! I’m super impressed with this product and very happy with my purchase.

Easy to set up and use, works really well and looks good. It heats up quickly and is easy to disassemble and clean. The only thing I found disappointing is the lid on the reservoir where the oil drains into when cleaning, does not fit well and you need to be very careful or oil will spill when refilling the tank. Overall, very please.

I love how the food turned out. It's easy to use, easy to clean and holds quite a bit of food at once to cook. The price was great.

This product does not drain properly it will spill and leak all over the countertop. Also only uses product five times. when I try to use it again it almost Court fire. lots of black smoke the smell stayed in my house for a week.

It is a great idea however, the pan that catches the oil leaked and made a huge mess all over my counter and floor! I tried to contact the company by phone, email, and chat box on their website. No answer or reply on any communications. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

This product looks very nice, I didn’t use it. I need a bigger basket the picture makes the unit look bigger. When deep frying I need to get it done as quick as possible. This size is not right for my family. I will be returning and would like an exchange if it comes in a bigger size. I bought it because of the oil filtration system.

The idea behind this cooker is great…HOWEVER it only works in theory. The plastic drain container is a piece of junk. The lid warps and will not fit securely onto the bottom. And no we did not have the plastic container under the unit while cooking nor did we pour hot grease into it and make it warp. It actually came ill fitting! This thing goes in the garage sale stack. Can’t cook very much at a time in it either. Very disappointed.

At first this product worked great. After a few uses I can't get the damn thing to cut on. You clean it & it won't cut on for 2 day's. NO I AM NOT GETTING THE ELEMENTS WET! For the amount of money I spent & the SHORT amount of time I've used this, PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
