Better than advertised. We have relocated (2 days 14 hour drive, NC to MS) and used them with a 13 year old diabetic 12 lb cat. She had no problem using this size in the street line in our car. It didn't miss, so the medium size worked. The size is perfect for one-time use, our cat doesn't like wet paws. However, the size is for single use, but it can be cleaned and used several times. It is waterproof from the outside. There are very high walls so the kitten won't miss. The paper construction is very thick and the inner surface is absorbent and "supports" the filler. You are excellent. They worked for #1 and #2. I highly recommend them. Diabetic cats pass large amounts of urine when their diet is not optimal. When traveling, pets are restless. It was ours. These bowls compensated well for our cat's travel problems.
