I like that the tool is sturdy and made of metal (too many plastic tools break with minimal use). The only problem I've found is that the spacing between the prongs that compress (loosen) the MC4 clamps is too great. I added heat shrink tubing to the pins to reduce the width, making it easy to pinch the clamps and release them. However, the shrinkage does not last very long. If perhaps the manufacturer could increase the size of the inner compression lip on the tool, the wider outer pins would allow it to slide easily over the connector, and the final tighter inner step would effectively compress the clamps.
