Our dog is dark brown in color and our back yard is wooded. When she's out at night, it's sometimes impossible to see her. We started putting this around her neck to solve the problem and it works great! It's funny to look out the window and see the pink ring running back and forth across the yard. At first she was afraid of the glowing collar (what a baby) but we learned to slip it around her neck (we sized it to be able to slip it over so we don't have to keep detaching and reattaching it) and then press the button to turn it on. She doesn't mind this at all. The collar is easy to charge. We store it on the doorknob of the backdoor so it's easy to slip on as she goes out at night. This has been a great solution for us.
