Review on Sony VPLHS20 Digital Entertainment Projector by Michael Welborn

Personal experience After much research I finally decided on this device. I hooked up my HS20 to a Toshiba HD DVD player and it looks fantastic. To be honest, it's hard to tear yourself away from the unit. The picture is so good. Had a friend come to see Matrix and the superlatives were flying. Just like in the theater, there was a remark. The device is quiet. Everything is fine with the remote control, and the manual could have given more precise information about the device. If I had one negative comment about this device, I would like it to be brighter. The nominal value of 1400 ANSI drops sharply with optimal settings. I prefer to turn off all the lights in my apartment and I already have a dark room with my pajamas sitting in it. I only use it for movies. I still prefer my 25" CRT for regular viewing of news etc. No problems so far.
