NOT WORTH IT! Unsuitable for wearing.

This review is for THIS specific Jomi product. Your other stockings are MUCH BETTER and I have purchased a few of these and am very happy with the quality. Please remember - overall this is NOT a bad low quality manufacturer but there is definitely something wrong with this one. To be honest I have no idea how the FDA could approve this. I hate giving bad reviews but I feel like I should warn people not to play with extremely tight compression stockings that are made in a way that puts lives at risk. I am a former vascular ultrasound specialist with years of experience. I work in the vascular surgery department, so I KNOW how patients with venous insufficiency are doing and what their feet look like in the advanced stages. There's absolutely no way most of these people could even try to put them on. Here's what happened: I bought 3 pairs of medium and large sizes for me, my mother and my grandmother (I have to sit a lot, as does my mother). ) And guess what? The medium sized pair was literally impossible to pull on even though I have a very thin bony foot and small ankle circumference but my calves swell a lot towards the end of the day despite wearing knee high compression stockings the whole time. time (I'm 5ft 6in, 130lbs and fairly slim) so judging by my physical measurements it should have been fairly easy for me to put these stockings on without extreme effort and acrobatics compared to the vast majority of vascular patients. seen. It turned out that even trying on size L, which according to the chart is far from my size, I found it very difficult. Even trying the peep toe version I was planning to give my 80 year old grandma, I was exhausted and sweaty by the time I was done. Of course, my grandmother has no chance. I would like to add that I have previously worn high compression stockings in the same compression category but from Sigvaris (Select Comfort) and Jobst and I know they don't have to be THAT DUMB. They felt completely normal and there was no drama at all to put them on, but they are quite expensive. So it's not a higher compression ratio, it's a design flaw with poor quality control on the part of the manufacturer. The thigh band was also too tight, although I'm not overweight at all, which made me wonder how my pre-diabetic mother would feel about that. At the same time, as I said before, the pressure on Jomi's thigh is 15-20 mmHg. SHEER Open Toe Compression Stockings SHEER Knee Height 15-20mmHg Art. very good and MUCH better fit. Now I highly recommend staying away from this Jomi product. They like to attach a card to the stockings that says "It's worth the effort" with basic instructions on how to put them on, even though they know that this is not the case. simple and cool This puts customers off. Let me tell you that in this particular situation it's not worth it.
