I'm editing my review after speaking with a Tide customer service representative. We determined that I had loaded the capsule incorrectly by putting my clothes on first. You must place the PODS FIRST! Otherwise, they may get stuck in clothes and not dissolve well. This happened to my clothes and I thought they were ruined! The capsule dissolved into my favorite shirt, leaving a hard plastic stain on the fabric. They informed me that the capsules are not plastic but a water soluble product that will dissolve. Simply soak overnight, then wash again without detergent. Use the highest temperature listed on the clothing label. It washes off no matter how long it is left on clothes and dried. Wow! Thanks to the excellent help from the customer service representative, I am changing my rating from one star to four stars. Tide is a great product and I love the free and uncluttered options. The capsules are handy, just read the instructions as I couldn't do this. Since I threw away the remaining capsules and bought 48oz. Refill bag I will stick to that.
