Review on 🚲 Street Helmet Nutcase: Optimal Head Protection for Urban Adventures by Adam Jenkins

The best helmet is the one you wear

Recently I started to cycle to work more often, but soon I realized a problem. I really hated wearing the helmet I already had and sometimes left it at home. It was uncomfortable, ugly, and no matter how I adjusted it, it seemed like I was either suffocating, unprotected, or my head was being crushed. I started saving for a new helmet and told my partner I wanted a nicer one, but the ones I liked best were more expensive. Then my partner said something that's really important when it comes to the cost of a helmet: the best helmet is the one you wear. I realized that I would much rather wear a helmet that I enjoy wearing and that justifies any additional price. So instead of buying your typical helmet from the usual big department store, I bought this Nutcase helmet. I wear them constantly for about two weeks and find them very comfortable. I love how easy it is to adjust the size with the dial. I love the magnetic closure. And for a helmet, it's pretty cute. I think it's easy. The visor is, well, pretty much useless for shading my eyes, but I have sunglasses for that. I've worn it on some fairly hot and humid days and I find it does a great job of controlling temperature, but I also don't expect the helmet to do much to regulate my head temperature on a hot day. . So if, like me, you only wanted to spend around $20 on a helmet but had your eye on one for its style and top-notch features, think how much more likely you are to wear a helmet if you enjoy wearing it. . . Luckily it wasn't tested in an accident, but knowing that I'll probably wear it if something happens makes it worth every penny. However, if you're someone who wants a stronger visor, an even lighter feel, or more wind through the vents, this helmet probably isn't for you. But this is the best helmet for me.
